IVIPB K9 security units are trained for security and screening, encompassing the search and detection of intruders, explosive materials, and narcotics.

They are crucial and highly trained members of our security and detection teams.

We adopt an innovative approach to reshape the delivery of canine services. Leveraging the combined experience of our teams and insights gained from other canine service providers.

We have developed a model to consistently and sustainably deliver canine services. Our team has actively participated in the War on Terrorism, deploying canine teams globally to mitigate the threat of explosive materials and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

IVIPB also has several detector dogs in service. This specialized group, mostly Labs, is trained to detect items such as controlled drugs and substances, firearms and

ammunition, and explosives. Although not as physically demanding as the tasks assigned to German Shepherds, detection is equally crucial for the safety of our community. Our detector dogs undergo two courses lasting approximately ten weeks, followed by weekly training to maintain their skills and proficiency levels.

Our canines offer support to all sections of the Police Service. When not engaged in day-to-day operations, officers and their canine partners are often present at community events, providing everyone with an opportunity to witness the dogs in action.

We provide K9 services for Police and Military Working Dog Handlers. With substantial experience and a global client base, including governments, international agencies, and the international corporate sector, we serve as a major security provider to some Arab governments and have a significant portfolio of clients in the Oil and Gas sector in the Middle East.
